Can You Add a Recipe as an Ingredient? #
Yes — in Streamline ERP, any recipe can be reused as an ingredient in another recipe. This feature supports efficient recipe management, particularly in commercial baking operations.
Default Unit of Measure (UoM) Behavior #
- Book Recipes:
- Default UoM is each.
- You can optionally use weight-based units.
- Make to Measure or Baker’s Percentage Recipes:
- Default UoM will match the target recipe.
- You may choose another UoM, and Streamline will prompt for conversion if needed.
Note: If no saved conversion exists, the system will guide you to enter one.
Important Restriction #
Baker’s Percentage recipes can only include other Baker’s Percentage recipes as ingredients.
This ensures unit and percentage consistency across bakery formulations.
