On the QBO Dashboard page, select Importing › Customers.
- This section contains Customers which may already exist in Streamline. We advise you to pair those customers rather than import them (Pairing Customers).
- This section contains all customers available for import.

- Streamline will also try to import customer details like address, customer contacts, and most importantly: open balance at the time of the import. Opening balance will be imported to Streamline as a special type of invoice called “Opening balance,” which will then be visible in the invoice library of that customer alongside other invoices/credit notes.
- You are able to manually edit open balance for individual customers on the batch edit customers page or in the customer settings page.
