
Steps to View the System from a Customer’s Perspective #
To simulate how a customer sees the system, follow these steps:
- Change the user’s password manually.
- Copy the user’s email address to your clipboard.
- Log out of your admin account.
- Paste the email address into the login form.
- Enter the new password to log in as the customer.
Tip: This method allows you to verify that permissions have been set up correctly.
Important Notes on Customer Contacts #
- The email address is the only required field when creating a customer contact.
- The main customer contact always receives published invoices.
- Once a permission set is configured, you can name and save it for future use.
Note: A contact’s email address cannot be edited. If changes are needed, delete the contact and create a new one.
